Mr. Ellis Flournoy, 91, of LaGrange passed away Sunday February 24, 2019 at Twin Fountains Home. Mr. Flournoy was born May 25, 1927 in Newnan Georgia the son of the late Dewey and Maude Flournoy. Ellis was a World War II veteran of the United States Army serving his country from September 1946 thru December 1947 assigned to the 19th Infantry Regiment in Beppu Japan as a rifleman. An upholster by trade he was the owner and operator of Flournoy Upholstery until his retirement. Ellis was a former member of Union Lodge # 28 F. & A. M, Yarrab Temple of Atlanta and LaGrange Shrine club where he was past president.

Funeral Services for Mr. Ellis Flournoy will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday from the Hunter-Allen-Myhand Chapel with the Reverend Mark Peak officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home (Tuesday) afternoon from 1: 00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. the service hour. A family interment will follow the Service in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.
