Eddie is a member of the Broad Street Church of Christ and has held a Georgia Funeral Director and Embalmer's License for over 35 years. He holds offices and memberships in many civic and fraternal organizations, including Union Lodge #28, F.&A.M., Scottish Rite of Columbus, and Yarrab Temple (Atlanta). He is a member of LaGrange Shrine Club and a member of the board of BNSF Transportation. He is also a former member of the Academy of Graduate Embalmers State of Georgia.



Marianne McCollough

Office Manager

Marianne joined our team in April 2017 as our Office Manager.  Marianne is a life long resident of LaGrange and a graduate of LaGrange High School.  She and her husband, The Reverend Aaron McCollough have 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and 1great grandson. Her 27 years of office management experience, her gentle manner and kindness will be felt by the families that we serve.

Cathleen started working for us in July 2013. She is a member of Grayhill Church of God (Bartley Road), which was started by her father in 1955. Prior to coming to work at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home, Cathleen worked for the phone company in West Point, Georgia for 42 years.

Joyce Upchurch

Grief Support Coordinator

Joyce is a native of LaGrange. After graduating from LaGrange High School, she enjoyed many years of employment with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, the Pastoral Institute, Flag Bank and Commercial Bank and Trust, retiring from all with a total of 50 years of service. Joyce is a volunteer with West Georgia Health Systems' Florence Hand Home, where she assists in the activities department. She enjoys reading, needlework, cooking and playing Mahjong with friends. Joyce is an active member of Unity Baptist Church, which is located on the street where she grew up.

Joyce is also in charge of the weekly Grief Support meetings at the funeral home.

Steve grew up in East Point, Georgia and is a graduate of Headland High. He went on to receive his Associate's Degree in Music from Truett McConnell College in Cleveland, Georgia, a B.M.E. from Brenau in Gainsville, Georgia, and an M.R.E. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

Steve has been married to his beautiful bride, Wanda Hudson (Toccoa, Georgia), since 1974. They have a daughter, Andrea Malone (Marc), and two wonderful grandsons, Hudson and Silas. Their son, Micah (and Blair) are serving as missionaries in Southeast Asia. Lydia, Elli, and Caleb are their other wonderful grandchildren. Steve and Wanda love spending time with their grandchildren and enjoy going camping.

Steve has been in the ministry since 1973. He has been a member of and is also on staff as the church administrator at Western Heights Baptist Church. On Sunday and Wednesday nights, you can find him assisting the volunteers in the children’s ministry. During the week, he assists the pastor in care for the members, outreach and education.

Something you may not know about Steve is that he has been singing with the Sons of Jubal (ministers of music across the Georgia Baptist Convention) for over 30 years. They have been on mission trips to Russia, Germany, Moldova, North Korea, Israel, Alaska and New York, sharing the gospel through music.

Stanley Woods, originally from Rockmart, Georgia, came to Troup County in 1970 as pastor of a local Baptist church after finishing college at Clear Creek Bible College in Pineville, Kentucky. Stanley began working for Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home in February 2001. He also serves in different church ministries and at a local nursing and rehabilitation center.
